In order to lock-in your interest rate, you are required to pay your application fee.

This fee is non-refundable should your loan not close.

As of July 30th, 2009, Section 226.19 (a)(ii) of the Truth-in-Lending Act requires that borrower receive the Truth-in-Lending disclosure prior to the payment of an application fee. If you have not received a Truth-in-Lending disclosure and Good Faith Estimate for your loan, do not continue with your payment at this time.
